Powder / Ombre Brows

For Digital Permanent Makeup, we use an electronically powered machine and a needle, which is more similar to a conventional tattoo (but much less aggressive and the pigment is not implanted as deeply). We can achieve a wider range of effects with Digital Permanent Makeup such as shading, ombré . Powdered brows traditionally last for 2-4 years.   Wake up and go without having to fill in your brows each morning. 

This technique differs from Microblading as we create a misty, powder filled brow resembling the look of makeup application, or a fresh eyebrow tint, as this procedure is semi-permanent most of the pigment fades over the time if no additional procedure is performed.

In this method the tails of the brow are darker, and as you move towards the front of the brow it starts to fade, the effects will be waterproof and smudge-proof and It lasts longer than Microblading, typically around 2.5 years on average.

Results are not determined until touch-up application is completed.

Factors that will cause your semi-permanent brow tattoo to fade faster:

• Tanning bed / sun exposure
• Exfoliating
• Oily skin
• Medical conditions

Semi Permanent Make-up is a three-part process, the prices include all three stages.

THE CONSULTATION
The First part of the process, this is very much a two- way conversation. We listen, we respond, we advise. Once we have talked with you in great detail about the look you are trying to achieve, we draw the brow contour and colour on with a make-up pencil. This can be drawn and adjusted 50 times if necessary! We will never proceed with the treatment until you are completely happy with what is it going to look like. We also do a patch test at this stage.

THE TREATMENT
Using a specialist facial tattooing machine, which works at a much lower frequency than astandard tattoo machine, we gently apply pigment to the skin using very fine needles.
We will always work with you at this stage, making sure it is as comfortable as possible.
The procedure normally takes about 1-2 hours but it varies from person to person. Immediately after the brow treatment you should expect the area to look 20-30 % darker than the colour you have chosen on a consultation, this will start to fade after 3-4 days.
We will discuss the adtercare and you will receive your aftercare instructions.

THE RETOUCH
A second appointment is needed 6 - 8 weeks after your first treatment. This is usually a 60 min appointment to add more pigment to the area, as it was healing some parts may not hold as well as others and a few patches may need more colour. This is completely normal every skin heals differently.
