Microblading is a method of applying semi-permanent makeup to the epidermis, we use a fine needle to apply the pigmentation to the outer layer of the skin.
This method is suitable for anyone who wishes to improve the look of their eyebrows.
If you have sparse gaps in the brows or no eyebrow at all, alopecia or thin over-plucked eyebrows, or simply desire a new shape, microblading is a method that creates the most natural looking eyebrows
How long does my Microblading last?
They fade over time and should be refreshed every 1-1.5 years for maintenance. Fading is desired as your skin and facial structure will change as aging occurs. Semi-Permanent Makeup is an ART not a science. Client results will vary. Even though it is effective and lasts up to a year in most cases, no guarantee can be made that a specific client will benefit from the procedure. Everyone’s skin is different, it is very important that each client understands that I can create perfect, gorgeous brows but ultimately it is up to your skin to retain my semi-permanent cosmetic service. Generally the results are amazing but it very much depends on your own skin type, texture and oiliness.
These factors will cause your Semi-Permanent Tattoo to fade faster:
Will I need a Microblading Top up?
The first microblading appointment is about structure, design, and building hair strokes. The top up is about seeing how the skin heals and retains pigment, as well as making any necessary adjustments to achieve better symmetry, definition, or volume. In most of the cases, only a minor touch up is necessary to fill in any sparse areas for a very natural look.
Microblading last between 12-18 months, on average our clients call to book yearly top-up appointments. Depending on the individual and the condition of the skin would affect when you would be required for a top-up treatment, if a client has oily skin the pigmentation colour will fade quicker than if non-oily skin client.
We advise to stay out of the sun and reduce activity for the first few weeks to prevent the colour fading, from sweat, heat/sun exposure.
Every client is different some clients say that it feels uncomfortable, while others say that it feels like scratching to the skin. We have had clients fall asleep in the past while receiving the treatment, we apply tropical anaesthetic to the skin before and during the treatment to prevent uncomfortable feeling.
